Girls lacrosse: Lang's five goals leads John Jay to third straight win

Sarah Lang had five goals and two assists to lead the John Jay girls lacrosse team to its third straight win, 17-7 over Bronxville, on Tuesday in Cross River.

The Indians (3-2) led by only 9-7 at halftime but outscored Bronxville 8-0 in the second half.

Lauren Murray (three goals, two assists), Delaney Spencer (two goals, two assists) and Amanda Flayhan (two goals) also had multi-goal games.

Kelsey Davey and Kyley Gorman each had a goal and assist, and Liz Sheeran had one goal.

Clare Hogan made eight saves in goal.
